Was never a fan, slightly before my time probably being the reason. Some bird I know stuck them on in her house the other week and I found myself listening to them since. Top notch stuff as far as this Taig is concerned.
I was thinking about creating a thread entitled, 'What's the strangest museum you've visited?', but I decided against it. If anyone is interested, my answer would have been the Pork Pie Museum, Melton Mowbray.
I'm with ER - their early stuiff was really good but then they got repetitive, dull and up their own arses. They were like Status Quo in that respect - and Oasis.
I think you should Ponders - mine is the Finnish sporting history museum in Helsinki - pretty much nothing but a few skis, some running shoes of Lassie Viren's and one of Jari litmanen's football shirts.....
I doubt many middle aged people bought their stuff in the 70s and 80s. They were quite cutting edge in their day and although I'm not a huge fan they made a lot of good records.
