Not sure they were lucky. Mostly our wounds were self inflicted. That's the worst performance I've seen from us this season. They just took the chances we gave them.

Could have been any score that game, we both probably had 4/5 good chances, fair play you took yours well, you soaked up the pressure and countered with pace well. Shame your managers such a prick!

I'm assuming you didn't watch the game? Not saying they didn't deserve to win, both sides created about the same number of chances, they just had that little bit of luck when it came to the finishes, they countered well and played the perfect away game.
I'm not sure what he was thinking, his side were 3-1 up away from home and he takes exception to a player brushing past him, he should have been enjoying the result not acting like a petulant child.
4-1 was flattering, but we fully deserved the win. Pardew/Meyler was handbags but poor from Pards reacting to him. Best of luck for rest of season, hope you smash the mackems and go on to win the cup.
Newcastle deserved the win, no question but had city had the run of the luck then the result could have been different as we still looked dangerous at times. Particularly the Krul double save early on could have swung things our way.
We weren't really bad at all. Every time we made a mistake they scored. It was an excellent, clinical away performance. Pretty much what we did to Cardiff last week. 4-1 was unfair on us cos we did very little wrong but that's what this league is like.
Oh aye, you can't go pushing your head into oppo players if your the manager. Hardly a headbutt though as some have described it Bruce called it right. Pards wants to count himself lucky Bruce didn't decide to get his massive bonce involved.
This. The timing of the goals were critical. Same as us with Cardiff last week. If we'd scored first it'd have been a different game. But we didn't and they picked us off brilliantly. Their fans were great and looking at the last page on here they're humble in victory too. No complaints from me. Apart from that Figgy is ****.
