another game, another two goals conceded. Think we've been here before with this conversation.

Looking at the other results (even Stevenage won at Bradford) I would say the heat is now definatly ON!
Next two games become huge 'Must Wins' now.

IF we lose the next two home games, which I hasten to add I don't think we will, but we could be a massive trouble if we do.

another loss then, but we new that we were in a false position in mid table. We are only losing by the odd goal now and not getting thrashed so hopefully playing at home in our next two games we can win by the odd goal instead. We need at least 4 points in those two games or we will be in even bigger trouble.

    I admire your confidence !
The only trouble is that even if we win those games there's no guarantee that we won't continue to drop down the division. If the teams below us win their games in hand the best we'd be is 20th..............please don't tell me that they ALL can't/ wont win those games in hand -- even with your poor memory you must be able to remember the scenario before the Wycombe game.... 'we're not going down - it would take a freak of results to relegate us' football is a funny old game ( I'm not laughing )

So far we have been relying on our forwards to outscore the opposition to cover up our poor defence, now our forwards are going through a lean spell we are in trouble.
Just a slight tweak, bit of luck, injury problems subside, and we are good enough to survive this league.

Another tight game between to evenly matched, but poor teams. Conceded to a well struck shot but we had plenty of chances to close the man down.

Why Taylor continues to play McDonald is a mystery to me; he wenter missing again today. Everything good went through Dack or Bayo

I thought we deserved something from the game for our second half performance, but a poor first half has cost us.We didn`t really threaten them and Cody was feeding off scraps.City looked the better side in the first half they had a lot of joy down our left hand side. The goal did feel like it was coming, and Baldock scored a great strike past Nelson.Linganzi was a bit too weak in the middle and they were getting through us too easy.At Half-Time Taylor brought on Lee and we played a lot better. It was pleasing to see Lee getting stuck in,and a bit like his old self. Our first decent chance of the game came early on in the second half when Cody ran through but his shot was too near the post and Fielding made the save.City had a header from a corner which landed on top of the net luckily.Weston came on and from his corner Bayo flicked the ball back into the area which Lee finished to send the 512 of us mental,I ran to the front and managed to cut my knee on one of the seats. We were playing well, but a fantastic strike from Gillett out of nothing sank us.To our credit we carried on and threw people forward but could not find the equaliser.I felt we deserved something, but we cant keep saying that.We miss a winger in the Barcham mold badly that will really trouble defenders.Three defeats in a row now and we need to get a win against Crawley on Saturday as only three points seperates us and the bottom four. Our trouble is we cannot stop conceding goals, and its no wonder why we have conceded the most in the League with Crewe.
