after much thought lasting all of 60 seconds, I think I've sussed out why Ashley has done it.

the only Cruise stores within 150 miles of Sunderland are in Newcastle City Centre.

its obvious he's seen how needy they are down there and is trying to entice them into coming to Newcastle so they can see how much better things could be for them, and of course take money off those who can afford the gear.

Saint Mike is an absolute business genius, but I never had him down as someone who cared about the masses. He really should be applauded for his attempt to help out the poor souls.<ok>

My only fear is that there may be a trail of unwashed persons seen coming through Gateshead on the way to the Toon. Hopefully they'll use the Metro and keep off our streets.

I've heard the kit bags will be replaced with those large SD carrier bags.

Devious work by Fat Ash, I'm surprised Ellis hasn't pulled the plug.

Why would he pull the plug? It's Cruise that the deal is with not NUFC. Mike's your owner, it's the Newcastle fans problem not Short's. It's a business deal both parties are happy with.

Er maybe because the Newcastle owner owns the shop supplying the suits for your big day? Plenty of options, I doubt Ellis would have sanctioned it had he known. Hopefully they bring you **** luck and you get smashed <ok>

I know that. Well established point. Re read my comment knowing that I know that. Why would Ellis not know this? Why would he pull the plug? The deal suits us and it's no benefit to NUFC what so ever, like I said, It's a Newcastle problem. We think it's quite funny that Mike, your owner, is using another one of his companies to invest resources in SAFC. It's business that benefits both parties that only leaves a few of you mags Stewing. <ok>

Cbrad stewing is not really a few. I find it quite amusing he has managed to crash your big day. Devious is wor Mike, as we know only too well. Ellis would never have allowed it had he known, Mike has pulled his pants down and stuck a finger in. Yee hah.

You were always going to crash our big day. Look North have already seen to that. Hence this doesn't bother me. Sunderland are there Newcastle aren't, that's the top and bottom of it.

Shallow victory for you there. Enjoy it. <laugh>

<laugh> The alternative doesn't bear thinking about for you does it? Major Trophy and Qualifying for Europe by actually winning an institutional trophy. Wow!

Personally, I'm just going to enjoy the day. I'm aware of our chances so not hinged too much on a win. I've enjoyed a cracking cup run and proud of the lads regardless of the results. You keep beating our relegation rivals. NUFC's help this season is greatly appreciated. <ok>

What you expect me to wish you well? I hope you get smashed. Means **** all to get there and lose, we know that only too well. Hate to admit but you do have a chance regardless of the bad wishes. One off game, anything can happen.

We don't worry about what happens in the pauper zone, we are a top 8 club <whistle>

Hmm, more damning evidence against the Fat Controller... won't make any difference to anything though, people will still go along to the matches, filling his coffers to bursting point so he can pour some of it Sunderland's way. <ok>

    Fantastic.
