Well spotted Harrow, It isn't mine but is similar to the first motorbike I had and loved. I have ridden this one which is as sweet as a nut. If you want it the guy says its not for sale, but its worth over 2 grand! Oh the happy memories!

Norway, I never had a 350LC, they were nuts, but I progressed through a few bikes to a Suzuki 550e. Those were the days.

Back to topic, the Wycombe views are on Not 606 entitled "Interesting ....... The rumour doing the rounds is that Watford have already asked Wycombe for permission to talk to Waddock. Having thought about it he is my favourite.

Where on earth did the Boothroyd talk come from. If they're so keen I have his home address because he's not doing anything!!!

I would like to see Chris Hughton as the next watford manager, he is used to working under pressure having done so at Newcastle and Tottenham prior, he is out of a job so would require no compensation and to cap it all he has a win % of 52.5% which is damned good!!! The only reservation i do have is will he accept the 130,000-150,000 a year salary we would be able to offer him?

I said before that i would be happy for AB to return but only if he had learn the lessons from before and was not going to make the same mistakes he made before.

Well, if we added MM's salary to the compo spread over 3 years, maybe that might be acceptable.

God knows what the compo is but its not an issue as its not something that'll have to be dealt with.

the issue there is is that realisticly what Bassini will do?? How much compensation are we getting? £300,000 as the sum of MM's wages? Also does anyone know hom much he was on at Newcastle? Having spoken to several fans, they think about 200,000 would be acceptable.

No need to worry Steve, Jackett's not 33-1 for nothing.
Although I do not doubt his ability I would be amazed if Watford went for him

Nice one Steve, but you can keep Jackett for my money.

Who says Dave jones is the favourite?!!!!!! That is nuts! Mind you some people want Boothroyd (as long as he's changed his spots). I will have to ask him if I can be bothered. This was always the issue with AB - "can't the board get him an assistant so that he can play football" is what people cried in 2008. For the last time AB likes ugly football. Its like finding a girlfriend and saying "if only you were better" - she would slap you!!!!

We need an experienced manager IMO and if we can do a deal then I will welcome Waddock (and forgive his playing history).

Looking at that list, and this might sound stupid, but Dean Holdsworth has gathered quite a decent reputation in his managerial career so far - won a title with Newport (yes, granted it was the Conference South but it was in his first couple of years of starting).

As another left field shout - Keith Millen? Compensation might be an issue.

(To be fair as I say, just throwing some left field names out there)

Even Alan Shearer is on the list!!!!!! NUTS. Didn't he turn Cardiff down because they wouldn't pay him enough!!!

We must be bigger and better than Cardiff!

Gary Johnson would be a good choice.Cheap and knows "The Watford Way" from his time at the club a few years ago.I also like the way he had Bristol City playing.
