So you think poultry farmers feed their hens for 4 weeks to produce one egg worth approximately 15 pence. Does that sound like a viable and profitable business to you? Then again I suppose with your one brain cell it proably does.
They probably thought 'Oh that blokes's trying to milk a cow', because we'd been milking other animals before that and obviously, as a fellow mammal, we would have recognised the function of milk in the feeding of our young. The problem in cows milk for us is that until a genetic mutation occurred around 8000 years ago we couldn't digest it. Humans had no ability to break down the lactose sugars in cows milk and when we did drink it, it would have made us ill. Indeed many people are still lactose intolerant today. In order to develop a tolerance to it however we had to be systematically drinking it. The question why did our ancestors regularly drink something that made them vomit is still not fully understood. It's probably due to the fact that as we moved further away from the equator our ability to synthesise Vitamin D from sunlight diminished and natural selection favoured those who drank milk, as it's an alternative source of Vitamin D. Certainly farming dairy animals started in Northern Europe so that seems to make sense. Whether consuming dairy products is a good idea today is another question. Even though we can stomach them now, they are not a natural part of our diet, we struggle to process some of the fats they contain and modern factory farming conditions are, shall we say, not to the cows advantage.
Poultry farmers are there to produce chickens............ eggs are a byproduct you are seriously trying to tell me that they are there to produce eggs and only eggs???????????????????????????????????????? hahaha you couldn't make it up! an egg is a chicken ovulation. you seriously think that when a chicken goes for a ****, it ****s an egg?? why do you think we call it an egg?? ****ing hell! and you say that I only have 1 braincell?
1. Where did he mention chickens ****ting eggs? 2. Do you really, really think all creatures have four-week cycles like humans? 3. See below.
1. Hens lay eggs roughly once every 27 hours. 2. Egg laying hens are different to chickens reared to be eaten. 3. You're a ******.
1. where else would they come from?? oh riggggggggggggggggggght chicken ovulations. glad we have that cleared up. 2. I hadnt considered that, good question 3. I am not as dense as most that post on here, I am not as shallow, calling me names will not negate my views on things.
I dont know the cycle of a hen, but every 72 hours would make it more viable. and you're senile.. we make a pair
Amazing. A fairly O/T thread takes a left turn at the traffic light and goes so far O/T I think it's invented a whole new category of otherness!
You are aware we wouldn't be alive if electricity didn't exist? Ever wondered how your heart beats? Ever wondered why you can move your hands and feet? Ever wondered how your brain works?
well IF you are going to get technical...................... even bacteria transmit their thought impulses via neurones... so without electricity, this planet would be barren.
