Saints U21 v Spurs U21

Yes. Some were cracking. Saints changed their positioning for corners second half putting players around the goal and looked more dangerous. Earlier they massed at top above of the penalty spot and tried to lose their markers. Didn't really work.

I've seen Cropper a couple of times and his shot stopping has been excellent and he has looked better than Gazza.
Turnbull went to pre-season and seems to have leapt above Stephens. Sounds like he could be 4th choice CB next season.
Fingers crossed for McQueen. I'm sure he'll feature on the bench at some point this season.

How long until the loan window closes? From recent academy selections it looks like the club are looking to push players up an age group with Sims, Hesketh & Adebayo in and around the u21s set-up. Hope Isgrove can get a Reeves style loan move

 

Our U-18s are 2-0 up against Aston Villa at half time. Seager and Hesketh with the goals.
