We could have played the U-21s against Cardiff they were that rank. We could have planted a Guy Fawkes dummy in the coaches technical area and taken the points against Cardiff. I can't believe you're all going to tie your happy faces to that match.

that true valley he couldn't ....Monk is doing great and will do enough to keep us up this season and that's all that matters. we start afresh next season as this has been an experience we can learn from...

How do you know what or what not Laudrup could have done with HIS team with injured players coming back and a big rest. We might still be in the FA Cup competition , guaranteed he wouldn't have thrown the game , would have treated the game with respect

I think I'll come back when all this Laudrup crying is over, and there's something worthwhile to debate, so bloody sad. The king is dead long live the King Garry Monk!....................

You are delusional if you think Monk has not improved the team and you are definitely extremely bitter about ML being sacked. The only reason you came here was because he became manager, and now he has gone you have done nothing but moan and moan and moan and moan.

I will tell you what you are, even though I do not need to because everybody else see's it as well. Just a few weeks after ML has a new club I don't expect you to stick around because you will then support his team.

You obviously hadn't seen many games in any way since they Wembley date then, our team wasn't injured for a near full 365 days. I don't buy this whole "but we had injuries" malarky and I certainly do not buy the "last seasons form after Wembley is nothing to do with this season" rubbish neither.... You guys try telling that to Leeds United fans who saw a disastrous second half of a season before KAPOW!!! Relegation the following season despite champions league not long before. And say it to Portsmouth fans, and Blackburn fans, West Ham fans, and Newcastle fans. Go ahead, tell all of them the form from the second half one season has no absolutely nothing to do with relegation form at all. They will laugh you off their board after they have skythed you for being disrespectful to their very, very, very real experience of relegation from the Premier League.

Mods, this is thread started on a WUM.

Yap yap yap, you're talking, you don't know me. I debate football, if you like it or not. Agree or disagree. When becoming personal, I suppose you need a scapegoat when results fail. You've (usi, dai, never ao) committed yourselves to Monk, so hard you can't see the problems. The team seems more committed: like headless chicken when defending.
I bet you Swansea won't produce 2 clean sheets for the remainder of the season and will start conceding on dead ball situations again.

Mikra has been an excellent contributor on this forum and despite ML's sacking he deserves a bit more respect than he's getting at the moment. I hope you stick around, Mikra, but at the same time if you become too negative you are going to alienate a lot of people.

[Loved series 2 of The Bridge btw. Saturdays aren't the same without Saga and Martin]

I guess I deserve some of the stick I get, there needs to be some proportions here.
I'm not faultless, nor are other posters (same applies to present/former managers).
I don't have more to say on these topics.

I didn't watch the Bridge 2, I was very disappointed with the way Bridge 1 ended (I thought it was a poor remake of Seven). Maybe I should give it a go...

Bolton maybe? Though their demise came after a 5-0 semi final defeat at Wembley, not a 5-0 victory in a final at Wembley...

I loved it, can't wait for series 3.
