    Addick in peace:

We've been linked with Emmanuel Frimpong, how well do you think he could do if he signed with us? worth a shot, we are rebuilding and looking to climb back up, would he be good for the challenge?

Frimpong has the potential to be TOP class.

He's powerful, quick and a good passer. He would be a great signing.

I think we should be hanging on to Frimpong, before his knee injury last pre season, he looked ready for our first XI. I think it would be a shame to sell him - unless we bring in someone better of course.

He'd be a quality signing for anyone in the Championship, let alone League 1. If you get him he will be your best player next season.

You are setting your standards way too high, I know he had a good pre-season last year but I think you are still overrating how good he could be.

Don't think he will go down to League 1. As mentioned above, he would have been part of our squad last season if it wasn't for injury.

By the sounds of it the person responsible for this rumour is thinking back to Alex Song and his loan to Charlton.

Frimpong will get pre-season to impress Wenger, and if he fails to do this I would expect a Championship loan if not a Premiership loan.

Maybe Oguzhan Ozyakup or Niccy Yennaris would be more realistic targets for Charlton. Both have good potential and have had decent seasons in our reserves. Would expect one if not both to go out on loan (although Ozzy may go to the Eredivise)

Just read the article in which Frimpong is quoted.

If he did really say what is reported, then he may as well sod off now.

A 19 year old who spent last season injured has no right to demand games. I doubt very much the reliability of the article.

He always has been confident about his future at Arsenal, and the article quotes seemed out of character.

If Lansbury, Emmanuel-Thomas or someone like that, who have had loan spells and tastes of first team action, had said that I could understand their view point, but not a 19 year old who has missed a whole season through injury.

A short term loan to get fitness and a bit of experience or a longer loan at a chmapionship/premiership side may attract him but I cannot see him being responsible for the outburst in the article.
