Twenty years ago I spent nearly every Friday afternoon on the mulberry and the Adelphi on Leeds bridge.

Used to be an Irish fella ran it name of Walsh. Had two lads Shaun and Vinnie they were mad as hatters.
Proper old fashioned pub all small rooms and red leather seating. Still a Good atmos and food according to yep a few weeks ago.

Sounds like a nice place Glory, I don't get to see much of Leeds when I'm over because I'm either over on a day trip or I'm up early to catch the flight the next day...must try to stay a week and take a tour of the pubs...<ale>

That one is worth a visit.
Now trying to remember what the pub was called on york road burmantofts that had hot and cold topless barmaids and strippers on Friday evening. It's closed down and last time I went past was a pet shop.

The dog and gun at Halton, the brown cow at cross gates, the Nelson at holbeck. My god I used to be shaks.

Great memories Glory, jaysus the next time I'm over for a couple of nights you'll have to bring me around a few of the pubs that haven't closed ..:emoticon-0148-yes:

Before Ryanair, I used to catch the boat on a Fri and the train from Liverpool to Leeds and there was a pub up the main st in the town centre just up from where Mc Ds is, it had a stage in it, I used to play Elvis on the J.Box and dance to Elvis pissed, forgotten the name though..

The Taps I wasn't allowed into by the bouncer, the other pubs don't ring a bell. Ever heard of O'Neils, I think it had stairs down from street, drank there after the 4.0 by the scum when that french twat scored. Murder after the game.

You were pissed it's at street level by the lgi. But there is an upstairs which is like a four sided balcony and. You look down on the ground floor and main bar.

When been trendy these days we spend time in oceana and revolution.

Shaks on the Friday do some of the Headingley pubs. Taps, sky rack, woodies ale house. The eldon, the library, the Hyde park all good.
