Aye, I had a 1968 Super Snipe saloon which had the straight 6 3.3 litre engine. Did very little mpg. My dad once had an Oldsmobile with a 7 litre v8 under the bonnet & years before that, a v8 Ford Pilot.
can`t have been many of them about. the only driver of yankee cars I can remember was the old jewish money lender Jack Grunblat, Cadillacs was his preferred option. Used to play snooker with him. Strewth! now we are going back some.
It's strange as well as the Oldie was right hand drive. Must have been imported from Australia or something. He had a Buick too which went for scrap.
