    I suppose you could say he was the one success of Mick Browne's time in charge, although he didn't get a chance in our first team.

    Sorry for the bump, but I've been reading Harry Redknapp's autobiography too and the name of the guy he nicked from us was Jimmy Hampson. He doesn't give a date, but it seems to have been mid-90s. If Hampson had stayed, we may have had the chance of getting the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Michael Carrick. Ah well...

    Yep! He had several youngsters lined up for us too, but WHU paid a fair ol' whack for his services and the players he had earmarked for us.
