Don't know where to put this since I have not seen the likes of Ruff, tunns, KE, over on the LFC board for awhile. Supernatural is in season 9 and that show is now done. They should have ended that series years ago but now, there is a somewhat decent theme but too many fluff episodes that lead to nothing in the story. Pretty much done with that one now. But true detective, that is where the top **** is at the moment!
Its a really bad show is supernatural. How did it get to 9 seasons? Spose when some British shows have been going 50 years and have never had a single good scene nevermind episode I cant say much.
Around season 5 I believe it should have stopped, should have ended but the call from the fans kept them going. Same thing happened with Lost, should have ended a season or two earlier, too many loose ends. Now Fringe ended on the right note!
I've heard mixed things about True Detective. Not by people who have watched but by critics. The newspaper I read, and whose reviews are generally true to how I see things so I trust them, reckon it's a bit formulaic and has been done before. A bit cut and paste from other such series. All academic anyway as I don't have Sky Atlantic!! How's things Bluff, not seen you on here for ages?
Not been on the United board for ages! Normally you guys came over to the LFC side but not as much ( maybe due to the form of United? ) Don't listen to that **** in the papers about it being the same cut and paste it is far ****ing from it! Woody Harrelson and McCaugnahy are ****ing awesome. I also like how they float between past and present and how it all eventually ties in. Awesome stuff. Same with Boardwalk Empire, it got some shaky reviews but it is awesome and going strong.
I'll have to get hold of it somehow. There are things called Netflix and such like over here, trouble is I don't have those either, nor do I know if they show it. I don't go over there because anything, anything at all, that wasn't all blowing smoke your arses was deemed 'wumming'. An opinion that went against the general consensus was not welcome at all. **** that mate. They even closed the cricket thread (although I note it reopened today)

all reet me ole mucker? divorced myself from supernatural around S5 too. fringe got it spot on as did breaking bad and so does Grimm presently. Falling Skies isn't bad, and Revolution is worth a watch. Watched an oldish series called Jericho recently, which was ok too. And have just starting watching for the first time Sopranos
