We will not be watching Doncaster next season, but you can if you want, get a grip will you! with Monk in charge we have got a real chance of now staying up....
Clearly not, he'll be watching Laudrup at QPR in the Championship by the sounds of things!................
1 in 6 Dai and Phil, hows that win rate looking Statistically worse than ML. That is firmly tongue in cheek as I want Monk to succeed, but just like to see how Dai and Phil go about it seeing as all we heard from him was ML's win rate.
Foreign media outlets won't pay to broadcast that level of entertainment. So since I will then be able to buy a ticket at the Liberty, I will have to spend my usual $2k plus or minus to make an 8000 mile round trip to watch a home game. Your "plastic" implication is putrid. The only thing plastic about my support is the credit card I use to pay to attend matches. Furthermore, I have spent more than enough time, more than enough season ticket money to stand on the terraces of the Vetch probably before you were born, to watch first team, combination and welsh league matches.
15 or so minutes from moving on , the boys did well playing in Europe against a team qualified for Champions League . Proud of both managers who got us here and of the players who got us here to . Palace will have to take the brunt of our revenge . I loved the dream of European glory but no time to sulk , Monk and his men must focus on the biggest task from seasons beginning, survival in the Premier .
Thats if you could find him Nobody could at the liberty during training or meetings so good luck with that....
Yankee, Phil only goes to the Liberty when there is a freeby and watches matches at pubs with his single pint of carling for 90mins. The only unsold season tickets left at the Liberty are around Dai, this has its benefits at the club bar as it empties when he approaches and you can get a pint.
Very interesting Clark Carlisle the co commentators remarks at the beginning of the game Yesterday, when he said he watched all the Swans warm up sessions in Europe this season and the one before Napoli he had never seen them so happy . And some of the players had told him that they had "zero interaction" with the previous Manager? Perhaps those are some more clues for his dismissal.
The thing is Cwm the manager has to remain a little removed from the players, having players happy laughing and joking is all very well but they lost us the game, its hard for Monk to go and bollock his 'mates'.
Gendros. The difference between a "little removed" and totally cut off is a huge chasm and not really easily explained. The more I hear is that ML had totally isolated himself from the players which is odd. I was suprised and disappointed at his sacking found him personable and humble when I met him but apparently he had distanced himself from the squad so much that they found his behaviour bewildering?? Strange indeed.
Dont waste your breath jack. some of us have known this for a long time and that's why we were failing fast......Let the laudrup lovers make more fools of themselves and us genuine fans will get on and support monk....They could track him down somewhere in the lower leagues mind if they want but he will never be a big club manager as long as his arse points downwards so don't go looking there... They will learn....well probably not Eh...
Win rates and other stats can get very distorted with only a few games played. Play one and win it and you have a 100% win rate. But that doesn't prove anything. Let's see how we do over a long run of games. As long as you're playing well, the wins tend to come. Personally, I think Monk is doing much better than most people thought he would. The only thing wrong is his shell suit. I'm worried that the Liberty will be full of fans in shell suits soon. We'll be a laughing stock. But Swansea, the city, has a bit of history with bad fashion.
