No as far as I know you can travel by car, if not just give you a ticket on the coach so no need for service station. .? . My Leeds mate did Cardiff away, exchanged 4 vouchers on his own , collected 4 tickets then rejoined his gay mates to dish out the tickets. All a bloody farce in reality.
Phil, From what I've been told by a mate who's done it is that the coach stops at the Woolley edge service station, the police then board the coach and take the vouchers off all fans exchanging them for match tickets, the police then escort the coach through Bradford to ER.
Did email the club but no reply yet, So it's a full on bubble match then ? Can't see me going 140 miles south to the den to get on a coach to go up north. Fingers crossed it's not the case as nothing on club website about this game yet.
Ringo's already posted a thread about it so seems you missed it mate? I'll merge the two threads together Phil. Sorted mate.
He has posted a thread Steve, I've been on it, but it don.t answer the question I asked it only states the obvious and surely someone must know what's going on by now
How it works is you can travel in your own motor but have to be at Wooley Edge at the stated time, someone from Leeds has the tickets from his open car boot and exchanges the ticket on production of the voucher. The fella is surrounded by Police who film you as you exchance your voucher, they also film the registration of your car, you are given a leaflet telling you what carpark to head for, but you are free to make your own way in and maybe squeeze a hours of pub time in if you get there from the start of the pick-up time. That is why i refuse to be dictated as to how i attend a football match, i'd rather not go.
That's a bit ****...cheers for the heads up though Ringo......might have to book in with the homies then
