quite fancied going till i read this "they are promising to play tracks from throughout their career" now if they played stuff from there first 3 years and forgot about the other 37...
Saw them at the city hall about five years ago. Jean Jaques Burnell is still very cool. I wish i could remember the name of the support band, because they were the worst band iv'e ever seen.

It's alright you laughing Erik, it was ****ing embarrassing, everyone just stood staring with their mouths open and disappeared to the bar after five minutes. When the Stranglers came on, Burnell greeted the crowd with "The support band were good eh ?" whilst doing the ****ing gesture.
Talking of live bands, The Reverend and the Makers played Welly club last night, and the lead singer asked "are there any city fans in tonight" ? That got a big cheer, but then he went on to say "or should i say Hull Tigers" ? To my delight, the response was a rousing 5 minute rendition of....you guessed it...."CITY TILL I DIE". The singer then remarked,"I guess i asked for that" !
