I can't be arsed to read all the comments on this thread, cos I'll just get annoyed.

I'm just going to assume it's all about how Cleverley and Smalling are ****e.

How Davies should have got in before Caulker.

    Why isn't Huddlestone considered?

    How Woys a ****.

Am I correct? Then at least I'd know that you all share the same opinion as me.

    Put it like this Macs.

    Hart - GK
    Forster - GK
    Ruddy - GK

    Walker - RB
    Jones - RB - CB - DM
    Baines - LB
    Shaw - LB

    Jagielka - CB - DM
    Cahill - CB
    Dawson - CB - RB
    Caulker - CB

    Gerrard - DM - AM
    Barry - DM
    Wilshere - DM - AM - WINGER
    Barkley - DM - AM
    Milner - WINGER - DM
    Huddlestone - DM

    Lallana - AM - WINGER
    Chamberlain - AM - DM - WINGER
    Sterling - WINGER

    Rooney - AM - ST
    Sturridge - ST - WINGER
    Rodriguez - ST - WINGER

That squad has 3 goalkeepers, 2 right backs, 2 left backs, 9 defensive midfielders, 6 attacking midfielders, 7 wingers and 3 strikers.

So that's a 23 man squad with 32 positions covered. Without a lack of quality anywhere.

To be honest, I genuinely doubt he'd send one to say us or palace unless we were playing a top side.

That's about right with the squad that has been given, nice to see you have left out Smalling and Cleverley, as they are not even Manure quality never mind England.

Since he played half his career there for Sheffield United.

Cardiff fans seem to delude themselves that caulker is better than Davies.

And they're very bitter. Hope the poor sods enjoy getting back home in the summer. Always be red.

    Ta C.

You've saved me some unnecessary anguish and stress. I'm going to go and sit in my moth enclosure and relax.

He might have played there for Sheffield Utd but he's not played in that position for about five years and has never played there at international level.

It's nonsense to suggest he's cover as a defensive midfielder.

There would have been more chance of Gareth Southgate playing centre mid in a crucial World Cup qualifier against Germany.

    Oh hang on.

Baffling. I've commented before that by Clevs own admission, in an interview for the BBC sport website, he's been poor this season. That was a month or so ago and if anything got worse.

How can a player so widely acknowledged to be complete and utter dogshit, still find favour with someone specifically tasked with assessing his form/ability.

    Roy, you're a twat.

According to what i've said, he's 9th choice <doh> He played 250 games for Sheffield United there. He's capable, that's all i'm saying.

Come on mate, as if it makes a big difference.

The difference in quality is minimal. The England side is ****e, get to grips with that and we can start to think about the future of the team because this one is just plain awful.

I think it's unfortunately necessary for the Ingerland side/set up to have a well publicised and humiliating WC collapse, in order for it to rise like a phoenix from the ashes.

I reckon Roy is smarter than we think.

Rather Caulker crocked in a meaningless friendly than Curtis. Selfish perhaps but I gave up on England when the pundits persisted with the myth that Lampard and Gerrard are or ever were world class.

    I tend to agree.

Still think Smalling is a piss take too far though.
