Won easily Red after travelling so easily behind the favourites. Was 9lb wrong with RL and 7lb wrong with the second but hacked up by 6l on his 29th carrer start...these small field conditions events are punting quicksand imo.

Its not a great stat for the ex assistant of the forums favourite trainer is it Barney. Regular readers will know that a certain brash Scotsman had laid me a 1000-1 for a tenner on him having a Festival winner this year. He has several handicappers that are still not fully exposed if the ground is right and the gorgeous PENDRA will finally get a trip and has been the subject of a few JP punts already it seems. Also has one that ran RED SHERLOCK pretty close held back for a crack at the bumper! It will be an interesting festival for Mr Longsdon but the stats are certainly against him.
