Caulker and Smalling over Davies...the man is clueless. Cleverley over Thudd....unbelievable. Defoe...who??? What a pathetic lack of imagination by a senile old man. And why the **** do we need FOUR goalkeepers. If any of the above play one minute in Brazil it'll be a travesty.
I never watch international football UNLESS a HULL CITY player is in the team. I did watch England games in years gone by its never been the same since they stopped the old England / Scotland / Wales / N Ireland home championships. I don't watch champions league games either.
There's one missing from there, Davies has won more aerial challenges than any other English defender.
If it's any consolation Adrian Durham and Darren Gough on talksport are outraged that Huddlestone hasn't been picked, and even more outraged that Cleverley has been picked ahead of him. No one outside this site seems to be saying anything about Caulker being in there though. Steven Caulker?! Get to ****. He's ****ing ****e and I can all but guarantee if he didn't just cost the best part of £10m he wouldn't be anywhere near consideration. How on earth can those pair (him and Smalling) get in when Davies doesn't even get mentioned? Hodgson is ****ing ******ed. Hodgson out.
Unbelievable choosing Cleverley, he has been awful this season and has gone missing in so many games. As for caulker and Smalling over Davies

I'm not too fussed about Huddlestone not being picked in this squad, he has been below par for quite some time. He still has bags of natural ability though and I'd sooner have him in the squad than ****ing Tom Cleverley. How the **** Davies isn't in the squad I'll never know. I never usually give a **** about the England squads but how Smalling gets in instead of Davies is a ****ing disgrace.
Who cares about England for now. ? Hull City have a big FA Cup game saturday week which is more important. Davies and Huddleston just need to keep playing like they are. Next weeks Denmark game means nothing but yet again the national manager gets it all wrong. imo.
The press are almost as bad, they want Thudd as he's still a name. If truth be told, I don't think Huddlestone has done enough to get in the national side. He deserves to be head and shoulders above Cleverley and in contention but his omission for the likes of Gerrard, Henderson, Wilshere, etc doesn't bother me. Davies, however, is the real travesty. He's been superb this season, our best player and one of the league's best. To pick Caulker and Smalling over him is utterly ridiculous.
Caulker, Smalling and Cleverley are just the tip of the iceberg. Cole and Johnson? Lampard and Defoe? Curtis deserves to be in their on merit but I obviously know **** all about it.
Davies deserves to be there, third best performing English centre half this season behind Cahill and Jagielka. Fourth if you include Terry, but he's not going to Brazil. Smalling has been as effective as hamster trying to out-muscle a St Bernard and while Caulker could be a very strong centre half in a few years he's still developing as a defender and part of the league's worst defence. Of all our players Davies is the one who should be there. Huddlestone maybe. I think he'd do a good job but I can sort of see why he wouldn't go. I actually think Livermore is in a similar boat to Huddlestone, and with his energy levels could be very valuable in the heat over there. Oh well, Roy's loss.
