Moore (although he doesn't seem any better than Parrish)

    Moloney Flint Williams Cunningham

    Burns Pack Reid Pearson

Baldock Barnett (just marginally less bad at moment than JET)

Sub's Fielding Osbourne, W Elliott, Gillet, Bryan, JET, Krans.

I would go with that, still do not understand why carey hss not been involved,a leader on the pitch and still the best central defender down there.

Carey is too short of pace.

    W. Elliot and Gillet are too similar on the bench, I'd probably have to put El Abd on the bench instead.

When was the last time you all saw a line-up that said that we had a good chance of winning? It seems the biggest complaint on this site is that we can't hire a manager who knows his best squad line-up, is that correct?

That is a pretty sad assessment of our ability to hire a decent football thinking manager who won't listen to the obvious crap coming from the boardroom. Will, or can, we ever again get in a decent manager or do we need a total change in who runs our club?

    'Moloney Flint Williams Cunningham
    Burns Pack Reid Pearson
    Baldock Barnett'

Of these outfield players only Barnett <yikes> is a Cotterill signing.
You haven't selected W Elliot, ElAbd or the magnificent Gillett who Cotterill extended his loan.

Ps - To be fair Osbourne (Cotterill signing) looked ok in central defence.
Trouble with this is the idiot Cotterill changed the complete defence to accommodate El Abd.

Says it all, Cotterill's absolutely fu**ing useless.

Can't see SC using Burns and Reid, they will probably be on the bench and get 10 or 15 mins game time. Why would he use players who have some investment in the club? I would also at least have Carey on the bench.

Get Louis Carey in the team & as captain, Louis will give everything he has left in him to help save our club from relegation. His vast expierence, will make up for his lack of pace, Louis knows what it means to us fans, he is Bristol City through & through...get Louis in the team before its to late.

Quite agree- Certainly wont do any harm at present-We need a Roy of the Rovers type to get us through.

Pearson could have an impact yet and I think JET needs to be benched for his own good.

Baldock is a good captain. Week in week out I see him making runs, trying to motivate the team and giving it all.

Yes, I would leave Baldock captain. He does show commitment. Would also play Carey still. In Rugby, you get a captain but there is also a pack leader for the scrum. Our defence needs this pack leader.

    Moore
    Osborne - Flint - Williams
    Burns - Pack - Gillett - Pearson - Cunningham
    Jet - Baldock

Might consider young Bobby instead of Gillett

But as you are a sensible, level headed person ROD, you will understand that it would not be fair on Liam to risk his football career until he and the club are absolutely certain of his fitness.

Someone said on OTIB he played a full game the other day and could be making an appearance in a week or two. Like you I think we've missed him I just hope we don't expect to much from him and he injures himself again.

They dont know their squads because they dont create them ?
Personally I think it probably takes about 2 matches to get to know your best 11, and about 10 matches to work out how to play them.
Could it be there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians ?
