The fact he hasnt been sacked suggests a number of incompetent people make too many important decisions.

Who would sack him? The glazers or Woodward?

I fear its the latter. If it was the Jewish glazers they would have killed him.

Take money from a jew and you die.

    I think it shows either:

    A) a lot of restraint and maturity by the board.
    B) a desire not to lose face.

If you're quick and hire Benitez he can save your season by winning in Europe like he did for Chelsea. ;)

More seriously, I don't see the point in replacing him now. Wait until summer. The board was right to give him time yo see if he could turn things round. Too many managers sacked too soon.

Waiting until summer will probably give you a better chance at signing a top manager.

Top managers tend to be employed and doing well. No clubs will want to release such a manager in late Feb/early March.

And, if they finish there, when was the last time they finished outside the top four in the top flight? That's got to be a modern record, too.

But if you sack him now it would still be too late to recover top 4. Even Fergie couldn't do it now.

Best you could hope is Champions League victory... but that would be a stretch even for the best managers.

Europa isn't much of a prize and gaining a position or two would only earn a million or two extra revenue.

By contrast poaching a top manager from another club at this point in the season would cost you Mega millions.

Best option now is to hope he suddenly clicks... but assuming he doesnt, sack him and replace him the moment the season ends.

How much impact do you think that will have though?

Win a couple of extra games? Grand scheme of things it accomplishes little besides a little extra pride.

If you're one of those two managers with a good reputation and record do you want to come to United for just two or three months knowing there is no time to improve your reputation but a very real chance of killing your good reputation if you're unable to turn things around?

HA! anyone who thinks hiddink is going to turn up for a few meaningless games is deluded. add this to the jewish comments and UiR has really lost it.

    nobody's answered my question

LFC a few days before olympiakos. lose both and moyes is gone. It'll be interesting as LFc have an ominous record of getting managers sacked this season

UiR should be on his knees begging for us to put 4 past his side.

He'll just release a new issue of his autobiography with a new chapter slagging off people who didn't help Moyes (including the media) and saying that Liverpool's recent form has been lucky <ok>
