Rang up to get the tickets for Hull, for me and the bairn today, only to be told applications had to be in by 5pm yesterday? I'm f**king devastated, I had no idea at all and now feel like the worst Dad in the world after promising the bairn I'd get us ticket. Booked train tickets, hotel and everything. She's gunna be heartbroken and I feel as bad as I've ever felt in my career trying to be a Dad. GC, tell your pals thanks so much for their SC numbers but unfortunately never got to use them.
Just pm'd you after notification my inbox was full, i wouldnt worry too much, may have jumped the gun abit but folk are saying applications were over subscribed and going to fans with 11 loyalty points plus, we wouldnt have stood a chance You shouldnt have a problem selling your train tickets, no way on gods earth i'll get the 6 i applied for and if by some shear miricle i do then at least 2 of those will be spare coz i just applied using the lads details i already had from other away days without confirming first and have since said they wont be going
Us fathers make mistakes all the time, doesn't matter what mistakes we make as they are gonna happen but it's how we respond to our errors. Doesn't make you a bad dad in the slightest
4500+ thing is people had been applying for both hull and brighton regardless of outcome since we beat ston Learned something recently that even if insuccessfu you still get a loyalty point for applying, i never knew that And that goes for all away games
Well there'll be plenty on general sale then, will sell out like I'd assume, even accounting for TV. Whether Hull sell their seats in another thing. Interesting on the loyalty points, you could just leave it last minute apply for likes of Arsenal away, Toon etc and fiddle it.
Tbf i reckon most of this thread is bs but its on the money in the most part http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/anyone-been-confirmed-for-hull-yet.884596/page-2
When I rang the ticket office today, I was told applications had to be in by 5pm Tuesday and that there would be no general sale.
that seems to be the word, i'm sure i posted that there was a 5pm deadline for tuesday on monday mind, thats why i scurried to get you the numbers by mid afternoon. a season card with loyalty points guarantees you bot all my friend its just a way of applying. no bad parenting just not knowing the crack fully thats all Tell her you'll take her to wembley for the semi instead if we get there, you can have mine + 1 for that as i'm away, nailed on hulls a **** hole and she doesnt like injections and another tetinus would be required
If you were a bad father you wouldn't care, the fact that you took the time to post this shows that you do care which makes you the direst opposite of a bad father.
It's out of your hands mate, no fault of your own so I wouldn't worry about it. Missing your daughters birthday party to go to the game is no doubt worse. And yes I am.
Aye spot on - you wouldn't be a real dad without the occasional **** up! I told my son I'd try to get him a Wembley ticket but none of my contacts came through for him. He's gutted but he's happy he's able to watch it at my Mam's house with the rest of the Non Season Card Holders in the family (my brothers and their kids!)
I didnt get one either Trip to KC Stadium oversubscribed by season card holders. Sunderland's forthcoming FA Cup with Budweiser quarter-final at Hull City has sold out for away supporters and there will be no general sale. The club's allocation of tickets has been oversubscribed by season card holders, and not all applicants will be successful. All successful applicants will have their tickets posted or available for collection by Tuesday 4th March. Supporters who have been unsuccessful will be notified by the same date. Saying that like suppose i still could but highly unlikely
