raheem is key to counter attacks isnt he, esp if playing away from home.

away from home maybe a tactic we might do, esp against a team that like to play football.

saying that you remember what formation we played in the games at the emirates or swansea etc.

I thinks we just might show up at St Mary

not to dominate possession (which should require Allen instead of Sterling)

not to counterattack (which is the gameplan we used at Anfield v arsenal and everton),

but to just Attack (which was how we started in the Swansea game).

I personally thought Skrtel & Sakho were are best CB pairing this season, although whether they were our most 'successful' I couldn't say.

It's good that we are having an argument about who should be dropped, I don't like dropping Sterling but we need to be more robust and hard working against Southampton, it's great going at teams when at home but away I'd like to see Hendo Gerrard Allen so either Coutinho or Sterling have to be dropped.

    It's not an easy choice.

Why not go at people away from home?

I don't have a problem with it and I won't be disappointed if Coutinho and Sterling start, I'm sure Rodgers knows what he's doing. I just think we will come across a very determined Southampton and will need to work hard to get all 3 points.

I couldn't choose between those two at the moment. Perhaps Coutinho edges it offensively, but, if Gerrard is to be believed, Sterling has the edge in tackling (and has a better engine).

    Worked at WHL. :)

Attack best form of defence sort of thing.
Keep it up their end, so to speak.

Indeed, as long as we get 3 points I don't really care how we do it. :D

The way Southampton beat us an Anfield and recently how Southampton outplayed Arsenal at home few weeks ago, I am fearing for this match.

This will be our hardest away game left in the season.

Why not all three? It uses mostly (exception = 3) the same players. Couldn't the players just move into those positions when required?
