What I suspected. The vote is quite unrepresentative.

This has been a strange season so far. Moyes was not my first choice to take over, having seen some of the football Dortmund have been playing over the last few years, I would have liked to see Klopp have a go. Last season the team over achieved and the to a certain degree Utd's rivals under achieved especially City. I think all the teams in the top 6/7 have more points at this stage of season than at the same stage last season except Utd. At no point did I think Utd would win the league this year, a decent cup run and a top four finish was as much as I was expecting (top four may still happen, but highly unlikely). But I am astonished at how much the team has struggled. It's got to the point where rival fans over here don't take the piss anymore out of sympathy. I thought it would take Moyes at least two years to make the necessary changes to an aging team and a midfield that for the last 3 4 seasons has needed an overhaul, and for him to create his own shadow.
Moyes cannot take all the blame, the players are largely responsible for the ****e they dishing up on the football pitch, unless Moyes is telling the players to play like a pub team. Not having the same back line two games in row doesn't help. Neither does the centre forwards missing sitters every other week.
I am still prepared to give Moyes his two years, but the patience is wearing a little thin.

I* think some have the same or less.

Last seasons United side would be 8 points clear at the top of this seasons table. that suiggests theres been little improvement and that the sides didnt under perform one bit.

Its a myth tbh. United were simply far better.

This season we are far worse.

This is sad but true, it shows the general lack of quality in the league which becomes even more obvious in Europe. If Moyes had played the same team for a number of games in a row (we have not played the same 11 more than once in the league this season) we may have gained some consistancy and as poor as we are we could still be in the mix for top spot. Piss poor league at the moment.

I am not denying Utd are worse than last year, that is blatantly obvious, but to suggest the other teams haven't improved and/or did not under perform last season is in my opinion is wrong. After 27 games, Chelsea are 11 points better off, Arsenal 12, City 1 point but have played 26 games, Liverpool 17 points.

The points difference to me would suggest that the league last year was ****e, not that Utd was that much better. This season Utd has been found out, and it just happens to coincide with a change in manager. Who knows, if Ferguson was still in charge, Utd would be 8 points clear as you suggest, somehow I doubt it. Utd would no doubt have more points, as Ferguson knew his players, having worked with them years, but Moyes does not have that luxury. Moyes is still learning about his players.

Its been said countless times on here, other forums and in the press over the last couple of seasons, that Utd's midfield needs work, Carrick being injured has not helped, plus on top of that the back line is now old. Ferdinand seems to have lost what pace he had. Vidic is error prone and has never fully recovered from his injuries, Evra still does not have the positional sense of a full back after all these years. Smalling is never a right back and at times doesn't appear to be a CB. Jones and Evans (who in my humble opinion should be the starting CBs next season, if fit and unless we get someone else in) are injury prone, The wingers are offering next to nothing.

I will grant you Moyes has made some baffling decisions and football has been poor, but on the field f**k ups are not his doing. See De Gea, Vidic, Smalling, RVP, Valencia, Fellaini, Evra, Ferdinand
