Throw the juvenile chase back in too. 2 mile chase for juveniles, then we can nick the French horses even earlier and target them for that race!

I’d also like to see a ‘Veterans Chase’ added to the Festival. Newbury have a decent one this weekend. Make it for 10YOs and older and over something in the region of 24-28 furlongs. Chuck £200k at this heat. Cor blimey yet more free advice for the Cheltenham Executive.

We’ve currently got 4 novices hurdles for the younger brigade so I can’t see why the old boys can’t have a race just for them.

I was watching the racing from St Moritz the other day (well, one couldn't get out this year), and they had a race for female jockeys only, perhaps we can make that a condition of the mares only race? Might as well make it completely egg and spoon in its nature!!

I was going to embellish this idea but decided against lowering the tone of the thread with gratuitous sexism :)

<yikes> Barney...I very much want to got the other way...remember more is less!

I'd scrap the Fred Winter (cannibalises the Triumph), X Country, Conditional Jockeys H'cap (wtf), Jewson/JLT (no need), Mares Hurdle (they already get a handsome sex allowance against the boys and should race there), Albert Bartlett (no need for a slow Novices' Hurdle).

That would leave 21 races over three days...bliss!!

Dave Moyes as low as 8/11 to be next Prem manager to leave his post. Money pouring in for that terrible old rogue Alex ‘Fergie’ Ferguson to take over again. He’s now as low as 2’s to be their next manager.

The 'hope of the county' Montbazon has a lovely low perch of 10-12 in the 'County Hurdle' by the way.

I see the handicapper has given Fingal Bay a right chance in the Pertemps, surely he was deserving of a bigger hike than that which he got?

Really interesting handicap marks and weights, I see Harristown is nicely weighted if one of the top three or four in the weights stay in. As is the big grey hope in the Pertemps, whilst the Novice Handicap Chase is tighter than you are!!!

dropped you a text about it. Also remind me to show you the cool system they are using for training Foxtrot Knight (must write a blog post about it)
