You talk about healthy team roof, yet it was Laudrup that picked an injured Michu and f**ked him up. Monk also inherited a squad in turmoil, and lacking in confidence.
Monk did not take Bartley off, so its his fault he is injured right? Or was it that Bartley refused to come off? What if it was Michu who told ML he was ok to play, surely the physio's would tell ML that Michu was not to play. Why would it be ML's fault? Just like its not Monk's fault that Bartley got injured.
I was told that michu said he was fine to keep paying! Most probably because he wanted to play for Spain.
You were outside the Brangwyn Hall weren't you Phillip, in your blue hat? Ingratitude personified. Doesn't the man deserve some respect instead of the lies being spread about him and his record?
Regarding the rumours, anybody know if he is taking legal action? How long would it take the lawyers to decide etc? Seems to be very quiet from both sides ATM.
Nothing to say about 40 points in the first 28 games with tremendous cup success to start last season valley , dai or slagum , cat got your tongues
Somebody on here claimed the club and Laudrup were very close to agreeing on a pay off. Don't know what that was based on but sounds likely...unless the club have any real dirt. If they pay him millions we'll all know that these rumours being put about were lies won't we? Surely we wouldn't pay somebody millions if they were sacked for actually breaching their contract? That would make no sense whatsoever.
Laudrups agent kinda hinted that there would be a settlement when he talked to the press about Laudrups up coming press conference terror ,I think the rumours started there .My take was that Laudrup didn't want to hurt the club with a lengthy fight and wanted it over quickly , I mean , the guy is class.
You would think, but let me get in ahead of those in the pro sacking brigade. "The club is only paying to save itself the headwork of it going down the legal route....blah blah blah."
I've always said I'll be grateful for what Laudrup achieved with us and some of the players he helped bring to the club, however I believe that he had to go as a result of the performance against WHU. I'm also prepared to back the boards decision to sack him because of the numerous stories I've read and heard, and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I've also said already that the truth needs to come out Nd I hope the club comes out unscathed and with no damage to our reputation. I've also stated that should Laudrup successfully claim unfair dismissal, then questions will need to be asked of the board. Maybe if you pull your head out of your backside you would have seen my take on the events ages ago. It's the performance against WHU I was upset with and that's why I said he had to go.
May I add....I'm off on a tangent here, bare with me....that both Valley and Swanselona have done a fantastic job of moderating this board fairly during all of this. You've both been in different camps and have managed to argue your cases passionately whilst simultaneously managing to be fair. Impartial light touch moderating at it's finest. Take a bow.
Very much so terror , two of the best mods on the boards .It's like we don't have mods , until one is actually needed then watch out . And valley , there was a period of time when the board was in meltdown and you stood alone when it wasn't easy to , you did a superb job sir
This is what forums are about for me. Everyone should be able to argue their points furiously with eachother and still get on...and if you can't get on at least keep your sense of humour. Some may find this opinion perverse but I reckon all of this Laudrup business has actually helped improve this board dramatically....as people are actually debating passionately about the football.
I agree, in fact its been one of the easiest periods I've had to mod this board, so all posters deserve credit. I'll argue the toss all day long on a football related subject and until the truth comes out, which I hope it will one way or another, provided nobody starts insulting or getting personal, may these debates continue.Tbh I've rather enjoyed them.
