Can anyone else feel it?or is it just me? I can start to feel the anticipation kick in, the expectations are high, the heart is ruling the head at the minute but I'm feeling very positive and can't wait for the weekend to come. HAWAY THE LAAAAAAAAAAADS!!!!!!
Yes, me too welder, just had to get out of bed because I can't sleep for thinking about it, couple of whiskies might do the trick I hope.
I tried watching 3-2-1 with Ted rogers the other night to take my mind off the final, but way too complicated for me !.
I cant think of any Sunderland fan that will feel any different mate. There will be a few craas not sleeping well either in case we win it as their lives will be made like hell. Lol
Yep, it's kicking in now. Woke up this morning feeling excited and nervous at the same time. Just can't help feeling it's '85 all over again... Got to be honest I'll be happy with a good display on Sunday (whatever the result) and Premier League footy next season. In stark contrast to last time. We played crap in the final and went down. In Short...I'm bricking it. In a strangely good way...lol
I'd settle for a good performance and EPL safety, I think most of us would, but now that we've come this far a win is within grasp, we've beaten the before so why not Sunday?
Yep, every second I'm awake. I've got my appraisal at work today and am not prepared for it at all due to thinking about nothing else but this final.
It's a good job we don't have to choose. Could you imagine if we get have our cake and eat it Such luck is as rare as a trophy round these parts but it's been a strange kind of season so you never know
What will we get if we do win it?? It'll be a chorus of "It's not a major trophy" or "The league is much more important" or some rubbish like that! But deep down they'll hate it
Why the f*** is not on Saturday? I remember crawling into work the day after the FA Cup semi against Norwich in 1992 cursing Sunday football...
This kicked in for me this morning like, I've been trying to think of how I'd actually react if we win, and I keep thinking back to Carlos Edwards v Burnley. I think that's the wildest & most euphoric I've even been at a match, if it's any more than that, I might actually die on the spot. Seems odd that a goal in the Championship v Burnley is my magic moment, but it was just the whole night, that night was truly magical, right down to us nearly ****ing it up.
