We've conceded the 2nd most goals in the league, heard that this morning somewhere....albeit we've now outscored City. Who wouldn't prefer 4-0, 5-0, 5-1? But consistency, for me anyway, means winning stuff.....I'd give 10% of our goals away if we leaked a lot less.....we'd also be top of the league then!
Someone's been feeding you porkies, Kenny. There are about 10 teams who've let more in than we have. I think you said you "craved" some 2-0 wins, so I was just saying I crave more of the high scoring ones, only without letting so many in.
My bad. Should of checked It must of been in the top half of the league as Newcastle were also mentioned. The principal still stands though and I also crave the high scoring games without conceding so many....but I'd take a comfortable 2-0 over a nervy 4-3 and a poor performance (defensive) performance too!
By the time they come to Anfield they will also have played arsenal and Chelsea so, hopefully, the gap may be bigger
We're the 11th best defence in the league. No teams has ever won the league in any major league with having the 11th best defence... I think the worst is a team having the 6th best defence in a season (I hope that makes sense!!).
Interesting. On the other hand we're on track for a healthy goal difference of +49. How often does a team with a goal difference like that miss on the top 2? Not once? Inspiring.
