Palace are in the "Group of Eleven " with 10 other teams vying for 10th place and trying to stay out of relegation .The last 7 games Palace have played within this group ( West Ham , Cardiff , Villa , Norwich , Stoke , Hull and West Brum ) they took 19 points out of a possible 21 points with only Norwich getting a point. Hope we are keeping an eye on this fixture while Europa is big on most minds . Palace would be a heap big feather in Monks cap if we took 3 points from this very important game.

Well according to Ince we just as well not bother to turn up . After reading that I hope we smash them <eek>

FORMER target Tom Ince reckons Swansea City won't be able to live with Crystal Palace's frontmen - even though the Eagles are the lowest scorers in the Premier League.

Ince held talks with Swansea over a January loan move from Blackpool only to join Palace instead.

The England Under-21 winger returns to the Liberty this weekend - and claims Swansea lack the top-quality forwards to hurt Tony Pulis's rejuvenated Palace side.

"Swansea play nice football and did ever so well against Napoli - but will they be able to handle the threat we give them with Glenn Murray, Marouane Chamakh, Cameron Jerome, Yannick Bolasie, Jason Puncheon and myself?" said Ince.

"They will want to play their fluid type of football and be expansive - but look at the number of times we counter-attacked West Brom.

"It's different when you play Manchester United because they keep the ball so well.

"Swansea play similar (football) but are probably not as effective - they haven’t got the Wayne Rooneys and Robin van Persies who, when you do give them the space, will kill you off.

"We have to nullify what Swansea do and then play our own game. I'm sure Swansea won't be able to handle what we do.

"We've got some games we feel we can pick up some points. It probably will go down to the wire.

"But we're confident that on our patch we can cause other teams problems.

"Against Manchester United you take it on the chin. Swansea will be a totally different kettle of fish this weekend."

Why do players feel the need to shout there mouth off prior to playing the opposing team.

By all means do that after the game after picking up points, but before!!!! I'm sure Ash, Chico, Rangel and Ben would love to ram that right back down his throat.

If he was playing for a top six side then yes, I'd have no problem with what he's said, but Crystal fcuking Palace. I bet Pullis is really chuffed he's come out with that. Ah well he can go back to the minors at the end of the season.

If I wasn't glad Ince never arrived during in the transfer window , I am now . Palace need a good old fashion ****kicking and we've got just the players to do it . A big moment in the 2013-2014 season as it turns out , we desperately need this games 3 points .

You'd have thought his old man would have advised him against stupid statements such as that .It won't be a walk in the park by any means but what he's stated will be an added incentive for us to get all 3 points as if we weren't already .No pressure on you now Tom <doh>

Ince is bricking it when they come out with statements of that nature, Its a way of trying to wind our players up so that they will make mistakes when we play them. We will take them apart and should win comfortable and that's what ince is worried about....I bet the players are laughing their heads off at his comments and saying "Bring it on palace" ...<ok>

We must throw everything into the Napoli game , rest 3 days and throw everything in again against Palace, no matter which players have to play both games . Best teams possible depending on which opponent. Unless I'm MISTAKEN, due to Arsenal's commitments to European and FA Cup games , we will have 12 days of rest after the Palace game before facing West Brum .Depending if we go another round of Europa and when the Arsenal make up game is , we go 7 days between games after that . We will have plenty of gas in the tank if we can reach another Europa round with most players back at a very opportune time.

At least Jonjo will be fresh for Palace. The Ince double act could be in for a generous helping of humble pie.

There is probably a 50 to 1 ratio where parents drag the athelete backwards after they "make it " to the bigs , regardless of the sport.I have the data to prove it -----I'm just not sharing it as a matter of convienence

But we have supplied you with data that shows that some athletes do succeed with their parents in tow. Tom Ince could be another, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Nathan Cleverley, The Quinnell brothers - Plenty of examples if you look hard enough <ok>
