i'm pretty sure everyone saw the game tonight.... for those of you who say CP plays sh1t football - vol and typ (typ, it's not your fault...) - then look at what wednesday play. they were awful, they only had one tactic and that was to lump it and tackle hard.
Not a cup fan, but love getting one over on the massives. Brilliant first half, we rode our luck in the second- but considering we played two games in two days and had 4 players under 20 starting - that's a job well done. Hamer MOM for the second half - notable mentions for Astrid, morro and the harriotts.

This isnt an exaggeration but I've got tears in my eyes after that match... Just sitting at my computer stunned I cant believe we're back in the Quarter Finals!! Brilliant display from Powell and the lads... Church worked his socks off, made a nuisance of himself (thats why he plays every week) and got his goal Hamer made some crucial saves, including some punches (inc. some questionable) but that save at the end was simply amazing... We're in the next round because of him!!
Beat the Blades in the Quarters... beat Sunderland or Hull at Wembley... guaranteed European spot when we play City or Arsenal in the final... what could possibly go wrong?
Our match is to kick off at 3pm on the Saturday. BT have the Man City game and ITV have the Arsenal match. It looks like we'll be sneaking under the radar again. Still, I'm sure the club will be paying for 6000 Addicks to travel up to Bramall Lane, eh?
