Official Match Thread: vs Southampton (A)

Southampton have 1W 3D 2L in their last 6 home games

They started the season taking points of top teams at home but that was before their managerial implosion

 

They have good home record though.

 

West Ham was our first defeat in the PL since 1 Jan. We've had a few injuries but are pretty much back at full strength, Should be a cracker!

I have to say DR has done a fine job. Very colorful, vibrant and pretty. Just like him. Beautiful.

 

Their home record is a little bit of a #myth

They have overall P13 W5 D5 L3

Only 3 losses is good (Chelsea, Tottenham, Villa) but we should be aiming to do better than at least 2 of those teams

They still have to play at home; Liverpool, Norwich, Newcastle, Cardiff, Everton, Man Utd

So 4/6 of their remaining home games are against teams above them. Have they really been #tested so far?

They got draws against Man City and a 10-man Arsenal (last 10 mins), but other than that no big results

Their 5 home wins were against Crystal Palace (before Pulis), Swansea, Fulham, Hull, and West brom

They come into the game after 2 losses to West Ham and Sunderland (FA Cup)

Of course all this is the positive spin. A draw isn't a terrible result but I want the #perfectblock

I'd rather Man Utd got passed them so they can be truly humiliated by Barca, Real or Bayern
