Perfect. Tht extra bit of pressure we put on Spurs and they couldn't cope.

Well played to Norwich, thought they were excellent. Contained Spurs attack and gave them nothing today.

That was hilarious. Norwich had a good spell in the last 15,as if they were chasing the game. Well done Canaries. <applause>

That is a fantastic result for us.

It gives us a bit of breathing space and takes the pressure off a little, as well as unsettling Spurs.

Will getting through to the next Europa league round make that even worse for them? Or are the game spread out a bit.

Wow. Better than I dared hope for.

If we Beat Spurs at home (I know.. not next game) and they have 9 pts to close in the other remaining games.

  11. Just seen the news from Norwich <diva>

Man Utd out of it. Everton more or less the same and now Spurs are six points (effectively seven with goal difference) behind too.

If we beat the spuds then its all over!

    Upcoming rival fixtures:

    Everton v West Ham
West Ham on a monster run of 4 wins since drawing against Moaninho. Lukaku back for Everton.

    Fulham v Chelsea
Not much hope for Fulham unless Mitroglou starts and has a monster full debut.

    Stoke v Arsenal
Difficult fixture. Arsenal should get a win but some potential for dropped points.

    Tottenham v Cardiff
Sherwood's honeymoon is over. WHL could turn nasty if they manage another 80 minutes without a shot on target.

Can't see any upsets there if I'm honest. Whilst we've got a tough trip to St Mary's.

We've got a bloody tough game against another team that plays like Swansea..
If we can learn from what we did (or should that be didn't) do against Swansea and put that into play against Southampton then we may nab a +tive result.
Only +tive is no matter how bad we play, we're always creating and scoring goals..
Our games are great for the neutrals but I'd love a dour 2-0 every now and again!

BR is very good at learning from mistakes. I doubt that we will see a midfield run through us like they did today.

  16. Obviously, at least one of Everton and Chelsea had to drop points but I didn't expect any other points to be dropped. Don't think many saw Norwich winning today either.

We have a very tough game.

    In the end;

Liverpool gained a measure of security in 4th for the first time

We must show a lot more v Southampton but as it's away who can have much confidence?

The next games are fa cup affected so we need to keep getting points to apply pressure.

Our rivals should be the 3 ahead not the 3 below. We've done great to hang on cos I thought the top would gap the rest but we are not in that rest are we?

Need to get something out of saints then play the mancs who prob will have Webb on for the day....
