    Just papers over the cracks.

A better team than Villa would have comfortably beaten us today.

Lol no one was watching you all changed the channel.

Nah come on. We were rocksolid at the back. Different team with Colo. If that been taylor when Benteke was in the box it woulda been red card penalty for villa 100%.

    Pardew out !!!
Two weeks to fix the issues and nothing changed.
As a club we are in real trouble looking At the long term picture, today was embarrassing.

Just have to hope he meant it when he said he was now happy to stay for the length of his contract. Looked so much better once De Jong had come on as well.

Oh yeah and that's 40 points and mission accomplished as far as MA is concerned.

Yeah De Jong played a big part in that too. He looks like a player.

Alright it does paper over the cracks but **** it I'm happy. That penalty decision really ****ed me off, so I became a bit more aggressive after that.

Villa will be kicking themselves mind. They were by far the better team in the first half and dare I say a more adventurous manager than Lambert would have gone for the kill.

Today showed how important Colo was the team. Not just his organisation and leadership, but the fact that he was effectively playing left back for large chunks.

Bet Pards is relieved! A draw today would of been as good as a loss particularly after the state of some of the football today.

Me too. It is papering over cracks but with MA in charge making any managerial change mostly pointless and the transfer window closed until summer, a good papering is all we can hope for! We need every point we can get in the hope that money will be spent in the summer. The higher we can finish and the better we look in matches the more hope of attracting half decent additions.

It was in an interview earlier this season - said something along the lines of he had wanted to move but the situation had now blown over. He also said he was happy to be playing for the fans and would see out his contract if that was what the club wanted.

I'm happy as hell cos it's been a while since we got 3 points.
What a dire, dire showing though.
A couple of times I actually started to nod off....
    **** it though... Vino time.

De Jong did more in his limited time than Cisse did in his portion of the game.

Nice gesture by Remy, dedicating the goal to John Carver's dad. They seem quite close judging by those scenes after the game.

I like Remy a lot, on and off the pitch.
When he goes back to QPR I'll sincerely thank him for his time here.
He basically provided the platform (alongside Cabaye) for us to freewheel to the end of the season.

He showed a lot of passion after scoring more than maybe you would normally see for a loanee
