Your experiences as a football fan matter I'm interested in how and why people become so passionate about football and what being a fan really means. Although football fans have attracted a lot of attention from the media and academia, this has been largely negative. So, as part of a research project at the Unversity of Oxford, I aim to find the more positive side of the fan experience from fans of Premiership teams. This is a great opportunity for you to have your say and be entered into a*£100*draw for taking part. The online survey takes around 5-10 minutes to complete and asks some interesting questions. Arsenal fans are currently under-represented compared to other fans so please do share the link with other friends who might be interested in getting involved too. This is a link to the survey: https://oxfordanthropology.eu.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_0DldVetfv68hBtj Hereâs a link to the research group on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Football-Research/1399755770273446?notif_t=page_new_likes Twitter: https://twitter.com/FootB_Research Looking forward to hearing from more Arsenal fans soon, get in touch if you have any questions!
Lots of responses to this from other teams, still need a few more Arsenal fans to represent our club though.
Thanks everyone for taking part Got there in the end and Arsenal fans are properly represented. I'll be sharing the results via the facebook page in the next few weeks: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Football-Research/1399755770273446?ref=hl Definitely not a scam! The survey is now closed - had to keep it short as didn't want changes over the season to affect people's responses. There's also a new survey (not just for fans so feel free to share with others). This one's on your perspectives on England and the World Cup. Takes about 5 minutes and money goes to charity for everyone involved. https://oxfordanthropology.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_ahjKmgZtor2SHg9 Thanks again everyone
