5 games in March. 3 home and two away. 15 points to play for, 8 would be a healthy return and ensure our premier league safety. Hull v Newcastle Sat 1 Mar 15:00 West Ham v Hull Sat 8 Mar 15:00 Hull v Man City Sat 15 Mar 12:45 Hull v West Brom Sat 22 Mar 15:00 Stoke v Hull Sat 29 Mar 15:00
The only game I would 'write off' so to speak is the Man City game. The rest I would expect us to get points.
We need to beat the proper Geordies next week. Bar the win bonus, they have nothing less to play for and as we know, they are beatable. Then, I think we’d lose at WHU (or is that cup-week?) but a point is well attainable. Write off Man City, although historically (well in my lifetime), I’ve never seen them beat us in Hull. But, if realism is what you need, you’d have to look at beating WBA and getting a point at Stoke. If all that happens then it’ll be from safety to where?
Did big Abdi get a knock against Brighton? Hope he plays tomorrow and gets a bit of fitness. If theres one game we need him for its WHam away.
I'd take 7 points from those if you offered it now, so long as it comes 1,0,0,3,3. But, I would hope for 10. (3,1,0,3,3)
I agree he was awful but at 35 unless your playing regularly you get rusty quickly. He'll hardly train these days i imagine. We definitely need his height and power against W Ham.
I would normally agree but Man City are away to Barcelona in the Champions League on Weds 12th March. They play us at 12.45 on the Saturday, 72 hours later. We might be in with a shout at home against a tired team
I'd be happy to see him play against West Ham, but I doubt we will. Newcastle are looking poor again today, Villa should be winning this one by now.
