Doesn't fill me with any confidence, and smacks of cronyism, but we can only wait and see what effect, if any, this guy has. I'd far rather he wasn't there at all mind you....
Well I can't see what the problem is here. Oh, I know, we lost yesterday so the world is about to end. Katherine was at the game, is showing a real interest in the club and appoints someone with a great reputation for leadership. He makes clear that he won't be interfering in MP's running of the team. Let's make the startling assumption that someone runs a multi-billion business empire knows what they are doing, eh?
Not getting knickers in a twist at all Channon, I think people are just referring back to previous experience. That's just human nature. Football's a funny place, closely guarded by cliques. I just hope this guy doesn't stir things up in his relative naivity.
A lot of those quotes are rehashed from the radio interview that were posted on here a month or so ago.
Yeah, maybe. But nothing in that article gives any clue as to what he's actually doing here. He's a hockey coach - what's he going to bring to a football team?
I suspect there will be an announcement when the time comes. But he is talking of stability, growth and development and seemingly, the mid-long term.
Forgotten all about him. I saw the headline and just thought Nightmare on Elm Street. I am encouraged by the fact Katharina went to an away match...seems to be showing a real interest. Shame we didn't get a result, but owners have to realise that you can lose as well as win.
Just read the article (which always helps ). Sounds okay...let Mauricio concentrate on the team and work with him about what he needs. Under Cortese, Mauricio's area of power was clearly defined...not the old football manager job with influence everywhere, so should be unchanged. What is clear is that we don't look like a team about to be sold if he is joining us after the Olympics. Interesting what he says about KL having views on sport. We need to keep a wait-and-see mind set, though I am encouraged by some evidence we are not being sold in the summer.
