Good comments from Kamara about us. http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/9180147/story-of-soccer-saturday-22nd-february
Watched it on a live stream today, great result for us but can't help feeling sorry for Cardiff. When you think of the end of last season and how happy both sets of supporters were how the hell has it gone so wrong for them.
It's a tough league. I don't think they've been particularly bad, very few teams have. They seem to have issues in front of goal, a bit like we did for 3 years when we were in the Championship. Very fine margins in this league.
They don't have enough PL experience in the the team. Dodgy transfer dealings and eccentric owner seal the deal.
Brucie was spot on when he said it comes down to your strikers. We genuinely seem to have found a PL partnership that are bloody great. We have some pretty decent backup too in Sagbo, Aluko and Supermatty. That's the major difference between us and those below us I think. Never thought I'd be able to say that. Kinda funny that since Carrol's been out for West Ham, they've not lost, he's back next game aint it? Be hilarious if they lose.
I’ve no problem with Cardiff, never have, but a couple of things niggle. For instance, I want that twat Campbell relegated. Moreover, the last day, last season, post match was good of course, but lest we forget how they took the piss throughout the game and how Campbell and Maynard celebrated in what was a pointless game for them. “Duh-Duh-Duh-Duh Squeaky bum time” they sang as we hung in agony for the Watford score….how the world turns eh?
People say Campbell did nowt wrong on the final day, but he clearly ****ing loved it when he scored because at the time he knew what it meant.
Arf. FC was convinced the future was brighter at Cardiff ......he'll be relegated this season. Serves him and his pinnocchio dad right.
He ****ing loved it (scoring against us). Juxtapose that (and past actions) to his lack of celebration against his other former clubs out of 'respect'. He should’ve signed for a big club…
Who would have thought they would struggle and Palace would revive like this back in October? It's a funny old game, Saint.....
The surprising thing there was they set a really unimpressive club record. When you think about West Ham you know they've not been a big club in the Premierleague era, but equally they've been in it enough to think they'd have some reasonable records for themselves. Their new record is for keeping a clean sheet in 4 consecutive games though. That means before this season they had the same 3 game record run in the PL as we did (Tottenham, West Ham, and WBA in 2008/09)
