Nothing to say on game as I wasn't there today due to work commitments. However, it's easy to conclude that it was a typical game for us i.e pointless passing, lethargy, no end-product etc. SO......will TF stick with Harry or gamble and get rid and maybe get some injection of life for a final push? We have all seen new manager and come in and have a sudden impact. I mean, it's not like we have a bad squad, perhaps the best squad on paper. TF make a bold statement on twitter about the importance of a result, quite the opposite today. I dunno, with the fact that we are in freefall and that Harry won't be in the game for many more years I would get rid. Shame Olly recently went to Millwall
I actually don't think he'll do anything. I can't decide whether we should sack Harry or not......................maybe!
Im sorry to say it but i dont think our tone has a clue what to do, he's put all his faith in Harry and he's been badly let down, i would like to know what Jordan and Bond do all week, they cant both be Redknapps chaufer
For the first time I am going to say that it is time to make a change. HR responded to TF by dropping Kranky and BAE, but the end result was the same, just not good enough. I hope that they have a good, long chat on Monday and come up with the amicable decision that Harry resigns. We have a squad that can/should go up, but something different has got to happen. Morrison looked good, but he was surrounded by players who were not capable of responding to his movement, players who never took a chance on making a forward run. 70% possession, but hardly ever in or around their box. We have a team that are so much better than Charlton's, but tactically we were not better. Where is the problem? There is only one answer to this rhetorical question.
If TF behaves according to his history and custom, he will stay with Harry. However, I suspect that if the 'right man' (whoever the hell that is) became available tomorrow, he might be tempted.
I think TF will stick with Harry until end of season. Personally, whilst I'm hacked off with our recent results and lacklustre performances, I would agree in not changing things. All I would insist on if I was TF, is for Harry to pick his best eleven and start with the same team each week until the end of the season barring injuries or the return of Simpson, Austin, Ale. That way we can at least prove whether these players really want to play for the Hoops or if they are all talk and no action. It will also prove Harry's capabilities as a good manager who can motivate and inspire a team. I would even go so far as to say, I would accept another season in the Championship, we are just on the wrong wavelength for Premiership football. Wherever we end up at the end of the season, I would look to build a team of keen, hungry and enthusiastic young players with no more than three over 30's in our squad. Look at Swansea and how their team centres around younger players looking to assert themselves as true professionals.
Taxi for Arry. His times up. Even if by some miracle we go up, he should leave. He hasnt got a clue and frankly Ive had enough. Basically we dont deserve to go up. Todays performance was the final straw for me. Give me someone who can change a game with a substitution
He will stick with him and try to get him to resign, probably in the summer. Red Knapp threatened to quit if he didn't get his way with the signing, TF clearly is trying to hold him to that judging by the window. I doubt HR gets anything to spend in the summer so it could be a battle of wills.
Have to say, it really is time to make a change now. I stuck by Mark Hughes for far too long when others said it was time to get rid, but this time I'm afraid my patience has gone. No signs of improvement, and if it goes on much longer we will be outside of the top 6 - we are sliding - and our season is beginning to collapse. We have seen several teams in the championship do it over the years. Look at it like this - at the beginning of the month before we played Burnley we were 3 points ahead of them and in 2nd - now just 4 games later we are in 4th - 7 points behind. If thats not a collapse what is. A 10 point swing in 4 games.
You are right Judo. TF kept Hughes too long - the result was relegation. He should not maske the same mistake now with Arry, because that could well mean no Promotion. I think also Promotion will be much harder after this season with decreasing parachute income, and the better players like Adel, Remy, Austin, Phillips, Krancjar, Barton, will probably be looking to move to Clubs in the PL or Europe, or stay there in Adel and Remy's case.
Very important meeting on Monday morning. Hopefully they agree that a change is required; Harry can retire and play golf, we can get in a manager who will take this team of PL players back to the promised land.
I really hope they agree a pay off until the end of the season or it will start getting ugly. He didn't take the PC yet again. Time for the fans to ramp up the pressure with some anti redknapp songs.
Absolutely not, perhaps that they are PL players is where the problem lies? (Don't annoy me Sooper, I am too pissed and pissed off)
What will Tony do? Probably issue some inane statement on twitter about being unlucky and how big our new stadium will be. In other words, he 'll sit on his hands
