Don't know why everybody is jumping up and down, we are a struggling team, Arsenal are a good team, they showed us how to play. Shows how far we have to go.
Too many loan players and 'out of contract' ones at the end of the season who have no real interest in our survival. Not a healthy situation, but funnily enough this may lead to a good team performance next week as they all have a big shop window. As a club we MUST reduce our reliance on loan players to move forward.
I'd have named at least 7 players before getting to Bardsley mate, he was one of the few that showed a bit guts.
Me too but he was frustrating me at the time of posting, and I do think he's ****e. It's not like i'm calling Dozy or abusing him, just saying he isn't good enough imo. There are plenty of players in league two with bags of effort and work rate, doesn't mean they're capable of playing pass and move football in the best league in the world. Equally annoying is we have players who can play pass and move but didn't give a stuff today But the Bardo thing is hardly my point, that's just a general thing. It's the first two sentences which is my real beef.
To say today was all Arsenal's doing is bullshit. They as always played some smashing stuff, but we were gutless & lethargic, we basically threw the game. I'm still ****ing raging now.
They made it seem like Premiership survival was a secondary objective. Contradictory of what Gus said about a week ago. Can't see Gus being happy with that performance. They made him look a mug imo. Poyets comments. 'We were very, very poor technically. 'We did not give good angles and we were not brave enough as a team to pass the ball. If you only come here to defend, sooner or later you are going to concede. 'Some people concede after 70 and lose the game anyway. We came today and conceded after a few minutes - then it becomes difficult. 'After that, you cannot make mistakes, but we made a big one, and then it was a very long and difficult afternoon.' He also reminded people that Arsenal are one of the top sides in the country at the moment. He added: 'Let's not forget it was Arsenal we were playing away from home and they have got quality. 'You need to be smart enough to slow down the game and organise. You have to be patient and press the ball, but we didn't.' Still really peeved about this.
Just a gentle reminder that the players that weren't good enough before the revival, well, they still aren't. Ki has gone missing as well last 4 games now, not slating the lad here but he's done **** all since Old Trafford. It's worrying again now, no 2 ways about it.
Ever the optimist I believe that today it was almost inevitable that we would lose, and that we are going to play crap in some games. So today was a good day to play crap and lose a game to one of the best in league. Compared to losing 0-1 to Villa at home today was a much a really bad game, bad play and **** result. What do you think of that theory?
