Considering that the fixtures are released tomorrow, there's not much point speculating. So now we know that we may or may not play Liverpool 2nd. That doesn't really help at all.
Carling Cup Round 1 w/c 8th August 2011 Round 2 w/c 22nd August 2011 In the 2010-11 Premier League, there weren't any mid-week matches during the first week. So probably won't be any this season either. That makes a mid-week match at home to Liverpool seem very unlikely, though not impossible.
As a Premier League club do we now join the Carling Cup in round 2? If not, we'd be playing Carling Cup round 1 before the first PL game. Had a quick look at the Carling Cup results from last season and it looked like no PL teams in round 1.
Wonder if they will ensure that Cardiff and us are not playing at home on the same day, they done that in the league, but now we are in a far different league from our little cousins so will they do the same, I gather the police will have input here
I think that we'll still alternate home games Jager. SWP wouldn't be able to handle 45,000 football fans within a space of 40 miles. They arn't exactly the greatest force in the UK. Also, I've been told that SWP have leaked that it will be Liverpool for your first home game.
well i'm so glad that ladbrokes refused my bet. couldn't have been more wrong. i've never been a betting man. and i don't think i will be in the near future.
Didn'y your mother tell you not to listen to idle gossip!!! Not my fault, obviously the coppers a liar!
