You're going to think I make this up but Sky often pick the game of the day before the games are actually played. They do this by sending their better known commentary team to the game they regard as the biggest. We weren't game of the day when we won 6-0 because they went with the Man Utd game. Edit - in this case it'll be the Arsenal game where they sent Gary Weaver and Davie Provan to commentate. (They had the Man City game covered too with Daniel Mann and Trevor Francis commentating there). The other games won't have had a look in.
Nice to see us actually create some proper chances for a change, rather than scrappy or lucky bits and bobs that just happen to fall kindly for us, should have created a few more toward the end but we'd let off and focused on protecting that clean sheet, can't argue with that. On another note, we must have used up an entire seasons supply of luck in that first half not to e looking at a double figure defecit, or are Cardiff really just that **** in front of goal?
I hope we take the same way to Newcastle but first up we have Brighton, I hope the players have bucked up their ideas and put on a performance to show the difference in class between premier league Hull and championship Brighton. We need to show them why we're in this league
Absolutely brilliant. I looked at the fixtures a few months ago and thought we could be proper safe by my Birthday - March 3rd. If we beat Newcastle I reckon we're just about there.
