    Konstantinos Mitroglou has gone from playing the CL for Olympiacos and having a game against United coming up with the real possibility of going through to QF's. Instead he'll be playing for Fulham trying to keep them in the Prem and probably end up in the Championship <doh>

    Never understand how when both players go in with their feet up, normally if one of them wins the ball and the other kicks them... it's the person that doesn't win the ball that get's the foul <doh>

    Torres and McCarthy both went in feet up and studs showing, yet Torres won the ball and got penalised..

    Everton showing why loan signing are risky business. Pinning all your attacking hopes on a loan player who if he wasn't injured today, wouldn't be able to play against his parent club. Also means next season you then have to find another new player and hope they click instantly with your midfield as well.

    To be fair he's probably being paid loads more. And he's going to get signed by a bigger team in a top league if he does well for the rest of the season at Fulham. And Olympiakos aren't going through to the quarter finals.

    True, but guessing he was getting enough money to keep himself afloat in Greece!

    It would make sense if it was at the end of the season, but why would anyone give up the chance of playing and going through in the CL to go to another league and be in a relegation fight? Stay, help your team in the CL and then get a move to a top team.

    He'd get a better move if he scored a couple against United than if he scored 3 or 4 goals for Fulham and they go down.
