The last at Kempton looks an interesting race to watch. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole though.

Irving is a shoo-in Ron. I don't doubt that Cup Final has a lot of potential, but right now Irving holds the whip hand, and whatever First Mohican does today - and I expect him to lose - he won't do any better around Cheltenham.

Doubled up Irving with Fox Appeal, medium stakes, very confident :)

My fancies today (ie to be avoided) are:

    Grey Gold 15.05 Chepstow
    Tullyesker Hill 15.40 Chepstow
    Smoking Aces 14.55 Newcastle
    Grey Mirage 14.50 Lingfield
    Irving 15.15 Kempton
    Hoof It/Rivellino 13.45 Lingfield

I would be tempted to see Grandeur get beaten in the Lingfield Derby Trial on the sole basis that it wouldn't surprise me if this is a "get used to the track" to see if he is worth a good bet in the real thing (with the same jockey). I was going to say "with the same jockey on top" but today is not a good time to be saying anything so stupid. <laugh>

Stuck on a trixie last night of:

Fox Appeal - Trip suits, ran Wonderful Charm to 1 length and that form looks top class then went on to demolish Raya Star, Mr Mole, Up to Something next time out. Down in trip for some reason latest but still ran well in defeat behind Valdez. Balder Success looks a decent 2miler but his only attempt at further he was down the field in the Welsh Champ Hurdle suggesting the step up in trip is a huge negative.

Irving - Three from three and all the rage for the Supreme. His last race he beat a double winner and Splash of Ginge has also come out and won a very competitive Betfair Hurdle on 134. He won going away last time and jumped better the faster they went.

Activial - Very gamely kept on behind Calipto last time out and they and the 3rd horse pulled a mile clear from the others in the field. Calipto looks set for a huge run in the Triumph and the form looks good with multiple winners coming from the race including Dawalan(4th) winning twice since.

Prices have collapsed this morning but topping up the treble @ 12/1

For interest stuck on a few bigger priced horses in a Super Yankee for small stakes

Guys not sure how relevant but Nico De Boinville rides in the 1.55 at Chepstow then goes to the last at Kempton for Nicky the Needle ? Could mean nothing ?!

I'm having a decent bet on Alcala in the Adonis. Paul Nicholls always sends a really good one to the race. Has won 3 of the last 5, And had a 2nd.

Tarooq still won. Was on him myself. Broke course record LTO and despite being 8 he's probably never been better!
