Are you saying you're stating what's in a 21 page report having not read it?

ok since you cannot be bothered to ask .. I will tell you how it is within the club

I know from Feb last year they got a marketing strategiest to look abroad to get the money we desperately need .. (at a major cost) ... he has come back to the club and it is decided that the club name will change .. the FA have agreed in principle .. but they want to see that it will be "accepted" by more than 1800 fans (which is the official "against" total) ... (petition means **** all) ... we have a great opportunity of 3 or 4 sponsors coming in and the money they pay each year will be our transfer kitty (around £30m) .. the sky money pays for wages and within 4 years allam get a portion of his money back (he is willing to sacrifice a portion for solvency also)

Ah, no reliable source per chance?

I wonder whether that has something to do with the fact your head is up Assem's arse alongside Happy's.

Nothing to do with HDM, copy and pasted from OWS.
    • Maximise match day spend
Ensuring access to properly priced food and drinks,
merchandise and content is the key to match day
revenue. The advent of mobile technology could mean
delivery of digital content to fans’ smartphones during
the course of the game. Provide good content and the
fans will accept advertising with it. This gives the
opportunity for the club to look for an o6cial digital
partner who would then have access to 25,000 fans
    regularly.
Setting ticket prices to ensure a full stadium - both the
home and away ends - is equally important. The brand
of the club is much better served by having a full
stadium in front of the television cameras. Perhaps the
introduction of singing areas to improve the noise?
Perhaps supporting the advent of safer standing?
A ticket in demand should be the objective!

Since the stadium is virtually full at the home end, in my opinion, this suggests raising prices to increase revenue.

Setting ticket prices to ensure a full stadium is far from saying they should have a price hike. We don't currently have a waiting list of fans after tickets, so any increase would result in an emptier stadium than we currently have.

Why does it? Increasing the price of the tickets will not fill the stadium.

I believe you are clutching at straws, hold onto them tightly they're slipping through your fingers.

The alternative is to increase revenue by lowering prices. Since we pretty much sell out the home end anyway, this wouldn't raise any extra money at all. Like I said, that is my interpretation of that statement. If you read it different, then so be it.

It says setting of ticket prices. Where's the price hike bit?

It says setting the prices for home & away ends. The empty seats currently, are generally in the away end. If prices were set to fill the stadium they would make prices more appealing to away supporters, you don't achieve this by increasing the prices.

Someone with English as a third language wouldn't have misinterpreted it as badly as you.
