Are you stupid or what, this request to hold a season ticket holders vote was long before AA latest threat of increasing ticket prices. He is only saying that now, because he knows he will lose, because all the votes that fan groups have submitted, including the official Hull City OCS have voted against it.

I have no idea of the details, but seemingly there is an FA rule about changing club names to suit sponsors. The statement seems to have hit the wreck of Hallams campaign below the water line.

I posted yesterday that Coventry were refused permission to change their name to Coventry Talbot in 1983 (I think) as sponsors could not be incorporated into club names.

how many official members of CTWD that have paid their money ... not 18000 .. if you don't want it then pay your money "cue the usual excuses" .. or maybe the average fan may sign a petition but not care ,.... show me otherwise

nobody believes that any sponsor is asking for a name change - companies are only too happy to sponsor a premiership team to get their brand promoted - Allam is going round telling them that the name will change and they will be expected to support it - as I've said consistently - he is a very odious man - he's even disowning his Egyptian heritage in his last interview claiming he was British - any man who disowns his own country is utter scum - taxi for Allam and not before time - at least we have a strong Council who stand up to this ****

and if as a result the club goes into admin (which it will if its rejected as allamhouse will call in the debt) ... the FA are open to a legal challenge for it and it ends up in courts .. AA is not stupid as I hope you know

It won't go into admin, Hallam would lose circa £100m he owes to himself.

Don't panic all the time, the man lies.

Considering his propensity to issue threats (walk away, price-hikes, supporter death), don't you think he'd have threatened this already if it was his thinking?

What would be ace about destroying everything?

Who would think he is great then?

Are you so naive to think that he's in some way handling this like a marketing genius?

Can he do anything wrong in your eyes?

Given the context of this and other threads, do you want to reconsider that?

This season ticket holders reference in the the latest statement is relating to the proposed price increase, not the name change. I think we got our wires crossed on this.

In my opinion that's tosh and a poll would show the majority of fans are against a name change

Whoever/whatever he is, Willo - he doesn't seem capable of framing it in everyday English language....
