I dont know what Im supposed to be reading really? Are you tryinf to say Dover and JLS are the same person? Not sure it matters or i care & also cant believe this thread has gone on sooooo long!!! youre top of the table, you must have more to talk about than a jokey well done thread....surely? going to go see if i can find the scores.
This thread confuses me - Burnley are a good team to watch? When the **** did that happen? They've always been one of the worst teams for time wasting and just generally hoofing it out of play in the way rugby teams do to get to the opposition 20 line. I've seen Dowie as our manager and whilst he was at Palace (I believe it was them we were playing when I literally fell asleep waiting for a goal kick to be taken and woke up before they took it), and I've seen Sousa managed teams quite often, and I would rather watch those two managing teams playing against each other than go and watch the Burnley I've seen every game against us.
Glad someone else feels the same. Hoof to Vokes > Vokes heads it to wingers > Wingers cross it > Ings shoots. The 3-3 with QPR was just hoof, hoof, hoof IMO. Not knocking it because it works and has worked for us before, but it's ****e to watch.
I was just hoping they might have changed this season as I've not seen them since last. Can't say I'm surprised they haven't given the most satisfying goal I've ever seen us score was against Dyche's Watford, where they'd been so bad at time wasting from the kickoff that when we took the lead in stoppages our players seemed to copy their goal celebration to take the piss.
The QPR v Burnley match was exciting because it looked like both sides would score each time they attacked. It was the mistakes that made it exciting, not the quality of either side. As I've said before, I've seen nothing to convince me that either side are better than us in any way.
Oh well...because the Hull mod says so (and you are all Hull slaves) then it must be correct... Like i said.. too many posters on this board never played a decent level of football in thier lives... Ric, why dont you tell then that Leicester is a nice place to live...im sure they will buy into that too....sheep... EDIT: if you guys are still struggling for something to talk about. i can start another thread if you like.....7 pages of this...god you must be boring. Loving reading Gangnamstars ridiculous replies..makes my morning even better
I've quite clearly said I was asking the question because prior to this season they were awful to watch, and as the season has been going on they've been the team I've been hoping will crash and burn so I don't have to sit through it again. When it was suggested they were good to watch I hoped it might have changed this year as they look like going up in second. I've not actually said anything about their approach this season.
Queenie speaks on behalf of all football fans, they speak up and tell him otherwise, and this is his reaction. Weak, Queenie, very weak.
To be fair, Burnley fall in the same bracket as QPR as a "big" ahem club. Both have similar "massive" attendances and play in state of the art stadiums. Both have a tendency to play hoof ball however, this style of play seems to work better for Burnley than it does for Twitchy and his dads army going on recent results. Time will tell if both of these top drawer teams will grace the Premiership next season......what an exciting prospect....!
