It looked worse because it was a fast challenge, but for him to be going at that speed, theres no way either of his feet were on the floor.

Ref waved play on - the foul was given by the assistant so might be a loophole there.

It was rash and was a debatable red card so they wont overturn it

FA only overturn red cards if its clear as day the wrong decision. Debatable ones they back the ref

Means that Schlupp will be LB for a while.

    Anyone else wary about this?

Not at all. He might be a little rusty but towards the back end of last season he more then did a job for us. He played very well at Watford this year and set up Knockaert's goal

tbh at least with a bit of a run at lb it will show if he will be up to it for next season or we need to replace with a new face, its up to Schlupp to make the place his and give Nigel an impossible decision to make in three games time. I hope he can make a good fist of it as i can't see him getting many games up front for us.

I still don't think LB is his best position, but it'll be nice to see him get a run in the team, if he's picked as we're all assuming. BBC seems to think that we'll stick Liam Moore in at LB. I know he played there at Forest but I don't think it's the best idea. I always prefer a left sided LB anyway.

Nope - quite pleased - Jeff coming back saved our season last time around ... he's far quicker than Konch, offers more of an attacking threat and has lots of good experience there to support him ...

I think left back is his best position. Man U was interested in signing him as a left back

As a striker I don't think he will ever cut it in this league

I think that this has actually scuppered Mahrez starting, havn't seen Mahrez yet, but if hes got the same kind of "eh" mindset to defending that Knocky had when he started, we might be exposed.

Will need Dyers experience on the left to cover Jeff going forward.

Schlupp and Dyer for me on the left today. They play well together. Hope Lloyd scores today as he seems to be most people's scapegoat. He is having his best season in a blue shirt ffs!
