Great performance yesterday, lads. You absolutely bossed them. Best performance by a premiership team in Europe this week by a long shot, against very good team. For a large proportion of the game I thought Napoli were playing in white! In a way, I hope he misses our game, but obviously that he isn't injured too badly. He looked very good. Full of pace, movement and creativity. A lot of your moves came from the right hand side. Like most teams, we have problems with old players coming back to haunt us. I've always rated Jonjo, and therefore wouldn't bet against him scoring. I'm just hoping our free scoring at Fortress Anfield continues and we score more! I'm not watched Bony much this season, but he looks a beast! Very big unit. We've had problems with two sorts of player this season and last: fast (e.g. AO-C for Arsenal) and strong (e.g. Lukaku for Everton). With Dyer and Bony you have players to give us headaches. So, hopefully, one or both will be missing on Sunday. If you play like you did against Napoli you might be one of the few teams leaving Anfield with points this season. Although, the rabid fan in me hopes, by all the things which are precious to me, that you don't! Again, well played yesterday, Swans, and good luck (but not that much!) for Sunday. Looking forward to a great game of real football.
Get a few quid on the swans for a win or even a draw as we wont see a better price all season and its worth a go...
Watched your match with interest. Soft spot for both Napoli and yourselves. Thought there was a real dearth of quality. Your finishing was very poor, whilst Napoli seemed half asleep the entire game. No real urgency or cutting edge. Would love to see you go through of course... but what does it say about Serie A that you dominated possession against one of their top sides?
Same Napoli that beat the team currently sitting 2nd in the Prem its easy to take one game for granted though What does that say about the Prem
