Ok, will leave it at that, as one can't talk sense to a brick wall. Especially not a brick wall with a grudge against the old manager.
Wisier , lol .Your a regular old owl dai lol. Things you say and then think people believe you is worth the price of admission around here, in a comedic way. Imagine , players not coming to a club because of a manager , better lay down and try a different angle dai , cause thats just plain foolish man .
Im a bit more wiser than you it seams if you think a player will follow a manager.. They follow the best deal every time...
I don't even have to say anything dai , your hanging your yourself while pretending people believe your foolishness
So that would be the same for team that won the cup last year it was the team and nothing to do with the manager then.
You are making yourself look an idiot saying what you do...A player will always put himself first every time.....they follow the manager my arse.. I have never known a player in my life time who would leave a club to follow the manager...They go for the best deal every time.
I aint saying a player will follow a manager, what I am saying is that the manager is an influence when a player makes his decision as to which club to join, now who is being stupid Dai. And to work alongside one of the greats, in Michael Laudrup was a huge pull for players choosing us. My god your so wrapped up in your own little dream-world you really have lost sight of reality.
Of course, it won't be Monk. The players are the ones on the pitch. Monk can influence them, obviously, as did Laudrup who had more of an influence when we won the cup because the players HE SIGNED played a huge part in getting us there. It will be interesting to see what sort of players we will attract next season by the way.
What bloody influence has laudrup got that makes him so special. I dont call 8 wins in 39 games as something that tells me he is a good manager that i would want to play under ...Would you...
Had that comment come from someone I had respect for, I might have paid it some attention. However, it's only you....
I thought you were the king of knowledge .. do me a favor...the players are playing a different type of system known throughout the club as the "swansea way" and it was monk who ditched laudrups system back to what we do best..Monk has done more good in three weeks than what laudrup done since he has been here......we won the league cup playing Brendans way, everyone who knows anything knows that....
How bout the revival of Routledge's career for starters daiswan ., no other manager could get out of Routledge what Laudrup did . That alone blows your stupidity out of the water dai .
Influence? Try Michu, Chico, Pablo, Canas - gave Ben his chance, resurrected Routledge's career when Rodgers didn't have a clue what to do with him. Then he added Pozuelo, Amat and Shelvey for the future. Lucky, lucky Garry. If that lot stay, he won't have to look for too many of his own signings.
Had that comment come from someone I had respect for, I might have paid it some attention. However, it's only you.... I know a lot more than you will ever know sunshine and i can shoot you down on anything to do with the swans any day of the week... You try to talk big but we laugh at you and your followers who like you are nowhere near the liberty on match days...You don't have a clue and will never have a clue, How do i and my mates know this .....Because its so full of rubbish that all fans who dont go to matches sprout and we have a good laugh......you cant fool us in a month of Sundays....And you know it..
"King of Knowledge" Nice thought but I don't and never have aspired to that title just as, no doubt, you have never aspired to the title "King of the Toilets". Mind you that should equip you to understand that one of my turds knows more about football than you ever will.
It will be interesting to see what players we attract. But, do you always need a big name to attract quality players then. I dont think so. Yes i have no doubt that some players follow certain managers around and certain players will go to a club because a certain manager is there. But, without any doubt the underlying reason for a person joining a club is how much they will get paid. 9 out of 10 will go to a club that offers the highest wages. so to say we wont sign anyone of quality because GM is manager is alittle bit insulting to ur great club. As for influencing player yes i think a manager can have a positive impact on players. But some managers lose that and then it is time to move on. As i have said throughout all of these debates. I experienced one of the best seasons i have ever seen as a swans supporter, I thank ML for that. This year we looked stale, Unfit and uninterested at times, our passing had become slow and ponderous. I have heard all these injury reasons. but honestly from the start of the season have we played that well. Liverpool at home and maybe a half against stoke. I cant think of many more that raised the pulse rate. However i do believe that the injueies have not helped a bit. what i have watched in our last 2 games was a vast change to possession passed with pace and movement, wingers playing as wingers. balls geeting put in to dangerous areas. A lot more enjoyable to watch. Is GM the answer, I dont know. Do I want him to be the next manager again i dont know at the moment. His honeymoon period is now over and it is time to show whether he is worth considering.
I have been supporting the Swans for longer than you and ONLY, I repeat, ONLY the Swans..... unlike you. I have not attended for a few seasons because of health and other reasons, which have been well documented on here. Got any comments on that? As for the rest, I begrudge every second I spend when I lower myself to debate (look it up) with the likes of you, so I will just refer you to my post #57.
Is that influence in being here or how they were playing. Because this year not all the abiove had covered themselves in glory. Last night was possibly the best i have seen in terms of Routledge i think he was awsome. Chico in his last 3 games has looked back to his beat after a bit of a dodgey season.
