More likely than Arsenal. We are only 1-0 down with the home game to come. Hardly a lost cause is it? Of the 3 teams who is most likely?

Did you watch your team tonite ? and you think you will progress , and if you do.......... who do you think will embarrass you in the next round. One thing about the champions league , you get beat by GOOD teams and not sh1t ones. I hope we never find ourselves in that competition . The whole thing is an embarrassment . I would rather finish 6th than have to play young boys of berne. Its demeaning.
On the whole I agree, we want to play Champs League. We have travelled to some godforsaken places in this comp and we would love to get back into CL. What's your point?
The posts " we are the only team with a chance of progressing " Implies that you feel ( strangely ) somehow superior . When in fact the whole competition is vastly inferior and therefore , nothing to beast about .
Calm down. If you read my posts I said the EL is second rate and I don't blame the players or manager for not being up for the game, as our focus is to challenge for top four. We played crap tonight but return leg gives us a strong chance of progressing if Sherwood plays the right team. Both yourselves and City have slim chances of making it through, even if you play your strongest team as 2-0 means bayern and Barca won't slack off.
It was just one example. Piskie said that he'd been laughing at Spurs since 1961. Over the period between 1961 to 1996 (ie pre-Wenger) we won more trophies than Arsenal. The large disparity in our clubs' records is mostly down to Wenger. Any Arsenal fan who has been laughing at Spurs since 61 has clearly not been looking at the football results! Oh and neither club has ever won the EC/CL so your record in having qualified many more times is hardly one to boast about.
Surely, bearing the above in mind, that's the only thing which could be boasted about, in respect to European matches? It seems the only metric that is valid. Just saying ... As you were, gentlemen.
When I was young winning the Cup Winners Cup was considered a higher achievement than qualifying for the European Cup which was just a side effect of winning the Football League. I concede that this might be considered old-fashioned
It was in reference to the dozy spud who said he'd been laughing at us since 19:45, a quip at your last league win in 1961. Even the FA cup isn't really considered to be a big trophy these days, so arguably your last major glory was back when walking on the moon was just a fantasy
the spuds were not too happy at me when i pointed out on one of their threads trying to mock us, that wenger has won more English titles that their club in its entire history.
every Spurs fan under the age of 50 hasn't seen them win a title - unless you count our victories at ****e heart lane
We might still be reeling from Ozil's pen miss against Bayern. But at least he was 10 yds further out than Soldildo and there was a goalkeeper between the posts to save it
